MoDOT Schedules Roadwork in Scotland County Through April 22
HANNIBAL, Mo. (April 6, 2026) — The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced planned highway maintenance work in Scotland County as part of its upcoming roadwork schedule for northeast Missouri.
MoDOT said motorists can find updates on road closures and planned work on the Traveler Information Map at traveler.modot.org/ map. The department also noted that weather could affect the schedule and that additional moving operations may take place across the region.
Drivers are urged to use caution in work zones by buckling up, putting down their phones, slowing down and moving over for highway crews.
In Scotland County, Route N is scheduled to close April 13-14 for asphalt pavement repairs from Route K to Route H. The closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Route H also is scheduled for multiple closures. The highway will close April 15-16 and April 20 for asphalt pavement repairs from Route N to Missouri Route 15 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Additional work is scheduled on Route H for April 21-22, when the road will be closed from Route N to Missouri Route 136 during the same hours.
MoDOT encourages travelers to check conditions before heading out and to remain alert when driving through work zones.
