Scotland County Fair Set for July 4–12

The 2026 Scotland County Fair is set for July 4 through July 12 at the Scotland County Fairgrounds. This year’s theme is “Homegrown Happiness.”

The 4-H and FFA Horse Show will kick off fair activities on Friday, July 3, at 3:00 p.m.

On Sunday, July 5, the 4-H and FFA Dog Show will begin at 1:00 p.m. That evening, the 4-H Royalty, State Fair Farm Family Recognition, and Knowledge Contest Awards will be held at 5:00 p.m., followed by a Vesper Service at 6:00 p.m.

Monday, July 6, will begin with 4-H and FFA Shooting Sports at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 4-H and FFA Trapshooting at 1:00 p.m. The Scotland County Fair Queen Contest and Fairboard Scholarship competition will take place that evening at 6:30 p.m.

Grab your cowboy hats on Tuesday, July 7, for Mutton Bustin’ at 6:30 p.m., sponsored by Scotland County Livestock. The Ranch Rodeo will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Main Grandstand entertainment will begin at 7:30 p.m. with opening acts Layne Stott and Blake Jack, followed by Blake Whiten.

On Wednesday, July 8, the 4-H and FFA Swine Show will begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 4-H and FFA Goat Show at 1:00 p.m.

Mutton Bustin’ returns at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, with the Memphis Rodeo beginning at 7:00 p.m. Also, at 7:00 p.m., Blake Jack featuring Jordan Beem will perform live.

Thursday, July 9, will begin with the 4-H and FFA Small Animal Show at 8:00 a.m. The 4-H and FFA Sheep Show will follow at 2:00 p.m.

Kids & Kritters, sponsored by H&M Swine, Kenny & Dana Hauk, Lucas & Emily Mauck, and Emily’s Pups Fetch ‘N Fresh, will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday night’s entertainment will feature the X-Caliber Tractor Pull at 7:00 p.m.

The 4-H and FFA Dairy, Bucket Calf, and Beef Show will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10. The Junior Super Farmer Contest will follow at 3:00 p.m. Friday evening’s entertainment will be the Lunatic Promotions Demolition Derby at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 11, will begin with the Junior Livestock Sale at 9:00 a.m.

That evening, Hot Laps will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Races.

On Sunday, July 12, Cowboy Church will be held at 10:00 a.m.

The Beer Tent will open daily at 5:00 p.m. Entertainment on Monday, July 6, will feature Andy Middleton at 7:00 p.m. DJ Aux will perform Tuesday, July 7, and Wednesday, July 8, at 8:00 p.m. Andy Middleton will return Thursday, July 9, at 9:00 p.m. Missouri’s Most Wanted will perform Friday, July 10, at 8:00 p.m., and Andy Middleton will close out Beer Tent entertainment on Saturday, July 11, at 9:00 p.m.

Katie Beck with Surfside will provide samples at the Beer Tent on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Those under 21 are not allowed in the Beer Tent.

The PBJ Happee Days Shows Carnival will operate Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Carnival rides are included with a Season Pass or daily gate admission.
