Memphis Lodge Honors Past Masters at Appreciation Dinner
MEMPHIS, Mo. (Jan. 22) – Memphis Lodge No. 16 held a Past Master Appreciation Dinner on Monday evening, January 22, recognizing decades of service from its former leaders and honoring supporters from across the region.
The event featured a meal served by members of Rutledge Chapter No. 343 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Worshipful Master Matthew Shoemaker presented framed certificates of appreciation to 20 past masters in recognition of their dedication and leadership within the lodge.
Shoemaker also acknowledged visiting Masons from Ottumwa, Douds, Unionville and Greensburg, as well as Peoria, Illinois, for their continued fellowship and support.
A special moment in the evening came when June Kice was presented with a Blue Slipper pin, a symbol of appreciation for her many years of contributions to the Masonic community.
Organizers said the evening was filled with gratitude, reflection and camaraderie, celebrating the shared history and values of Freemasonry.
