110th Annual Wyaconda C-1 Alumni Banquet
Approximately 76 alumni and guests attended the 110th annual Wyaconda C-1 Alumni banquet Saturday evening, May 10, at the Clark County Middle School gym.
The alumni enjoyed the roast beef and turkey meal catered by Steve Howell and family.
After the meal, the meeting was called to order by President Mark St. Clair. Those giving responses for the honored classes were: 1945, no one present; 1955, Shirley (Jenkins) Shogren and Harold D. Clough; 1965, Carmen Kugler; 1975, Crystal (Knupp) Bliven; 1985, Brenda Barber; 2000, no one present.
Corresponding Secretary/Treasurer Mary Dieterich read the secretary’s report and the treasurer’s report.
The necrology report was read by Mary Dieterich. A moment of silence was then observed to honor those who had passed away during the last year or those we had just learned were deceased.
Attendance prizes were given to the Oldest Male Alumnus, George Steele (Class of 1953); Oldest Female Alumna, Shirley (Jenkins) Shogren (Class of 1955), and the Alumni member traveling the farthest, Anita (Morrow) Broughton (Class of 1965) from Mesa, AZ.
The same officers were kept for 2026: President Mark St. Clair, Vice President Doris Gates, Recording Secretary Cookie Howell, and Corresponding Secretary/Treasurer Mary Dieterich.
The meeting was adjourned, and the evening finished up with the results of the silent auction and more visiting.
