McSparren Wins Medalist Honors at Timber Ridge

In Scotland County’s first home golf match of the year, Wes McSparren played his nine hole round at six over par for a final score of 40. McSparren’s score beat teammate Levi Stott (runner-up) by one stroke, in a contest that featured Scotland County, Putnam County, and Milan. McSparren bogeyed four of his first five holes, followed by three pars in a row. His tee shot found a hazard on the final hole of play and resulted in a double-bogey to finish.
