Truck Driver Injured in Crash South of Memphis

A 52-year-old truck driver from Carthage, Illinois, was injured Friday morning, Nov. 15, in a single-vehicle crash on Missouri Highway 15, three miles south of Memphis in Scotland County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m. when a southbound 2022 Peterbilt 389 traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
The driver, who was wearing a safety device, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital. The truck sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Lakeside Towing.
