 LOIS ROCHELLE BERTRAM 

Lois Rochelle Bertram, 86, of Memphis, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri. 

She was born September 3, 1937 in Moberly, Missouri to Guy and Nadine Brockman Tillerson. 

She graduated Salisbury High School in the Class of 1955 and later attended Moberly Jr. College in Moberly, Missouri and Gem City College in Quincy, Illinois. 

In January 1977, Lois Tillerson married Burley Elmer Bertram at Linn County, Missouri. 

Lois worked as a Lab and X-Ray Tech in Keosauqua, Iowa and spent many of her years as a teacher’s aide at Scotland County Elementary School as a Librarian until she retired in 2009. She was very involved in her Sorority “Beta Sigma Phi” and a board member of the Memphis Community Players in Memphis, Missouri. Lois loved the Theater; Broadway shows and music and especially loved her beloved QVC shopping channel. 

Lois is preceded in death by her daughter, Ginger Heller in December of 1976, and her husband, Burley in June 2011. 

Private inurnment will be at the Wyaconda Cemetery in Wyaconda, Missouri at a later date. 

An expression of sympathy in memory of Lois Bertram may be left to the Memphis Community Players. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Memphis Funeral Home 378 S. Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555.
