MARK R. JAYNE

Mark R. Jayne, of Memphis, MO passed away in his home on November 12, 2025. Mark was born in Winchester, VA, April 25,1961, the third son of Harold M. Jayne and Mary Traphoner.
To be closer to his parents Mark moved to Missouri in the early 80’s. Mark began work at Mid-States Manufacturing in 1987, where he worked for 35 years before retiring. Mark was a talented welder and craftsman and loved to make things. His steady hands and attention to detail created many things during his 35 years.
It was here where Mark was introduced to Kena L Robison. Mark and Kena were married in Kirksville, MO on May 22, 1988. To be closer to family and work, Mark and Kena moved to Memphis, MO in 1989. It was here where they made a home with their four wonderful children – Megan, Eddie, Whitney, and Savannah. Mark was an amazing husband and father, doing anything and everything he could to show his love and patience for his family.
Mark was preceded in death by his son, Eddie in 2011 and his beloved wife, Kena, in 2013. During these hard times Mark stayed strong and continued to make sure his three girls were taken care of.
Through fate, Mark was fortunate enough to find true love a second time. In 2019 Mark met Kristie Mills on accident through friends, and it was love at first sight. Mark and Kristie were married in November of 2023, and enjoyed many adventures, laughs, and happy memories. Together they enjoyed traveling, spending time in nature. Although Mark and Kristie were only together for six years, she managed to keep him happy and bring out the best in him. Mark loved her very much.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Kena, and his son, Eddie.
Mark is survived by his brothers, Tom Jayne (Winchester, VA), David Jayne (Kirksville, MO), his wife, Kristie (Memphis, MO), his daughters Megan Heil (Roy Tobias) of Warrenton, MO, Whitney Cremeens (Daniel) of Corydon, IA, and Savannah Jayne (Aaron Guiffrida) of Moscow Mills, MO. His grandchildren Julia, Xander, Jayce, Vinnie, Amelia, Charlotte, and Desmond. Mark and Kristie recently became great grandparents to Oliver and Eddy. Mark is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Mark Jayne was an amazing husband, father and friend and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
