DAR Hosts Veterans Appreciation Luncheon

On November 7, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a Veterans Appreciation Luncheon at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Memphis.

The Jauflione Chapter of the NSDAR was proud to host the luncheon to honor and express gratitude to local veterans. Twenty local veterans attended the luncheon which has become an annual event. Those honored included Billy W. Davis, Bill Camp, Chuck Ward, Roger Grover, Leon Buford, Charles Downing, Dr. Harlo Donelson, Donald Dice, James David Parker, Richard Harper, Tom Owings, Roger Gosney, Bill Hall, Rodger Holton, Steve Snodgrass, Nova Montgomery, David Kirkpatrick and George Owings, Patricia Miller and Patricia Triplett.

In addition to being veterans, Patricia Miller and Patricia Triplett are also members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Jauflione Chapter.

The veterans were honored for their bravery, sacrifice, and strength, and for all they have given to our great country.
