MARIAN JOHNSTON

Marian was born on September 19, 1944 in Knox County to Norman and Margie Mason Shahan. She was a 1962 graduate of Baring Missouri High School.

On June 23, 1962, she was united in marriage to David Johnston (Rutledge, MO). She was a stay-at-home wife and mom. After raising her children, she went back to school to get her certificate for accounting, computer accounting, medical secretarial technology, and diploma for child day care.

She was a member of Phi Beta Lambda MO. State Chapter and Red Hats of Rutledge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her nephew Lonnie Lee Aldrige, and brother David Shahan.

She is survived by sister Margret Aldridge, sons Chris, Bryan and wife Michelle, and Arlise and husband Zach, 6 grandchildren; John and wife Diamond, Bradley and wife Jasmine, Whitney and husband Brad, Gail, Brandi and fiancé Shawn, Bailey and wife Megan, and 11 great grandchildren; Abigail, Rylea, Kylah, Joe, River, Hayden, Hank, Clarissa, James, Tillie, and Eleanor.

Marian was always ready for fun and trouble with her best friend and father-in-law Ivan. She hit every sale and always came back with boxes of stuff so Grandma Elizabeth could go through them. She loved all kids and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life.
