CHAD DUANE MARTIN

Chad Duane Martin, 16, of rural Memphis, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, on the family farm south of Memphis, Missouri.

Chad was born March 2, 2009, in Memphis, Missouri, the son of James Horst and Darlene Kay Nolt Martin.

He is survived by his mother, Darlene Martin of Memphis, Missouri; three brothers, Rodney Martin of Memphis, Missouri, Brandon and Jessica Martin of Rutledge, Missouri, and Arlyn and Rose Martin of Memphis, Missouri; two sisters, Kaylene Martin of Memphis, Missouri, and Karla Martin and special friend Grant Nolt of Osage, Iowa; grandparents, Ervin and Arlene Nolt of Memphis, Missouri, and Alan and Vera Fox of Memphis, Missouri; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Chad was preceded in death by his father, James Martin; and his grandfather, Alan Martin.

Funeral Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Indian Creek Mennonite Church south of Memphis, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center south of Memphis, Missouri.

Burial will be in the Indian Creek Mennonite Cemetery south of Memphis, Missouri.

Clergy will be Philip Zimmerman, Leonard Musser, Talmon Martin, and Luke Fox. Pallbearers will be Donavin Brubaker, Owen Martin, Brennan Burkholder, Aden Weiler, Kylan Martin, and Tyler Musser.
