SHIRLEY M. CLATT 

Shirley M. Clatt Kahoka, Missouri January 1936 – 2024 

Shirley M. Clatt, 88, of Memphis, MO passed away on Monday, November 18th, 2024, at Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, MO. The daughter of William H. & Ivy (Fox) Dennison, she was born on January 23rd, 1936, in their Alexandria, MO home. She was a 1955 graduate of Knox City High School in Knox City, MO. 

Shirley was united in marriage to Paul Henry Clatt on November 6th, 1966 in Rutledge, MO. Shirley spent several years working at the locker in Memphis, MO and later on she ran a newspaper route. In her spare time, she loved knitting and crocheting and caring for her dogs. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents William H. & Ivy Dennison, her husband of 40 years, Paul H. Clatt, one brother, one son, two daughters, three granddaughters, one brother-in-law, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and one grandson. 

She is survived by a sister, Patricia Potter, a grandson Donnie Dennison and his wife Jalisa, one daughter-in-law, and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service was held November 25, at 2 P.M. where Shirley was laid to rest at Sand Cemetery in St. Francisville, MO with Danielle Bair officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for their discretion and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555.
