On Friday, November 15th, 2024 at Scotland County High School, Scotland County Senior Vince Dale signed his national letter of intent to play baseball at John Wood Community College in Quincy, IL.
Dale was joined by Scotland County baseball teammates Marcus Smith, Vince Dale, Layne Stott, Kwayde Hamilton, Dayton Rowland, Head Coach Matt Buford, Owen Brown, Tayte Richmond, Logan Buford, Assistant Coach Mark Haire, and Les Richmond.
Dale was able to share the moment with those he is closest to, his family: Aaron Dale [father], Vince Dale, Anna Dale [mother], Zavier Dale [brother] Tammi Dale [Grandmother], Olivia Dale [sister], and Sylvie Dale [sister].
The Scotland County High School commons was also filled with numerous students of all grades to share the moment with Vince. Building relationships with and setting an example for future Tigers has been one of Vince’s priorities throughout his years as an athlete.
Dale has made a second home on the Lewis and Clark All Conference teams, showcasing his talents on the football field, basketball court, and baseball field. Ultimately, Dale decided to focus on baseball in his next chapter, and will do so with Head Coach Adam Hightower and the John Wood Blazers.
