Following their road loss to South Harrison last week, the Tigers were once again on the road this week as they traveled to Salisbury, MO for week five of football. Salisbury jumped out to an early 16-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, and never looked back in this one. The Panthers added 14 more in the third quarter of play, and a safety in the fourth quarter to knock off the Tigers by a final score of Salisbury 32, Scotland County 0.
Scotland County’s offense rushed 35 times for a total of 71 yards. They were led by Beau Triplett’s 53 rushing yards. Dane Blessing passed 16 times, and completed 10 for a total of 98 yards. Vince Dale recorded 7 tackles and two sacks on the night to lead Scotland County’s defense.
Scotland County is on the road again next week to take on Westran.
