RUFUS K. MUSSER

Rufus K. Musser from Lebanon, aged 87, passed away on September 9, 2024 at the home of his son Rufus H. Musser, Milton, IA, where he resided since November 2023. He was the husband of the late Mary Ella Musser who passed away on March 1, 2018. 

Born in Bowmansville, Lancaster Co. on April 11, 1937, he was the son of Rufus H. & Susie B. (Kurtz) Musser. He was a member of Mountain View Mennonite Church in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. 

He is survived by 6 children: Eileen (Daniel) Huber of Bowmansville, Rufus (Jane High) Milton, IA, Elvin (Thelma Martin) Clyde, NY, Anna Ruth (Kevin) Huber, Lyons, NY, Mary (Daniel) Martin, Ephrata, James (Lorraine Hoover) Milton, IA. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 76 greatgrandchildren, 1 brother Alvin (Alta) Musser and a brother-in-law John D. (Nancy) Zeiset. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife, daughters Marian Musser & Martha Musser, a granddaughter, a great grandson, sisters Verna High, Lena Martin, Emma Wise, Orpha Martin, Phoebe Zeiset. 

A viewing will be held at Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center, Memphis, MO on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 5 – 8. 

A viewing will be held at Fairview Reception Center, Myerstown, PA on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8. The funeral and interment will be at Fairview Mennonite Church at 111 Elco Dr. Myerstown, PA on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 9:30 am.
