Memphis, Mo. – Aug. 20, 2024 – Kimberly Ann Forquer, 34, of Memphis, has been arrested for allegedly violating the conditions of her probation. She was taken into custody by the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, after an arrest warrant was issued by First Circuit Presiding Judge Rick Roberts on Friday, Aug. 16.
Forquer was sentenced to five years of supervised probation in lieu of a 10-year prison sentence in 2021 after pleading guilty to one Class B felony count of arson in the first degree and one Class A misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child in case No. 20SE-CR00047-01.
According to court documents filed by David Briggs, the Scotland County Prosecuting Attorney, Forquer is accused of associating with an individual also on probation after being told to stay away from them; failing to report to her probation officer on six separate occasions in July and August; failing to report her address on four occasions in May, July, and August; failing to engage in a substance abuse evaluation and treatment required by her probation officer for more than four months after being directed to; and not engaging in mental health treatment as directed by her probation officer.
Forquer is being held at the Scotland County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond. She is scheduled to appear in court before Judge Roberts on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024.
