The Memphis Community Players will present “Honky Tonk Hissy Fit” at the Memphis Theatre on August 1, 2, and 3, at 7:00 p.m. “Honky Tonk Hissy Fit” is the third comedy in the trilogy that begins with “Doublewide, Texas” and continues with “Doublewide, Texas Christmas” which the Players produced in 2019 and 2023 respectively.
The play is a story about small town Texas folks, a rekindled romance, a dance contest between local communities, and a scheme by an outsider from Austin. This show is being produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York, New York.
Tickets for the performance are $10.00. Theatre Box Office hours will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily July 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31, and August 1, 2. Patrons may call 660 465-2277 for reservations as well.
