The Musgrove Family was selected to represent Scotland County as this year’s State Fair Farm Family. Dale Musgrove is the son of the late Wayne and Letha Musgrove. Judy Musgrove is the daughter of the late Harold and Janet Shaw. Dale and Judy were married June 4, 1982 and live on the Musgrove’s Family Farm west of Gorin, MO. The family farm was recognized as a Century Farm a couple years ago. Dale & Judy have 2 children: Amanda (Jamie) Paul of Wyaconda and Cody (Deidra) Musgrove of Gorin who also live on part of the family farm. They have 4 grandchildren: Jillian, Dawson, MaKenna and Paxton.
Dale grew up in 4-H and his parents were leaders in the Gorin Go-Getters 4-H Club. He participated in showing cattle and woodworking among other projects while in 4-H. The Gorin Go-Getters closed for several years until Judy started up the club again so their children could participate in 4-H like their dad did for so many years. Both Amanda and Cody showed until they graduated, and their 4 grandchildren showed as well. Dale & Judy still have 2 grandchildren showing through the Gorin Go-Getters 4-H Club! The Musgrove’s have stayed involved in all aspects of 4-H and enjoy attending the fair every year!
