Living within the borders of church-ism, effectively, requires specific attention to the spirit of a person. The launching pad for productive spirituality will consistently be from humility. The choker to a hopeful work will be the pride of it. Faith and pride won’t mix. Therefore, we must be on guard against… our very own inner person.
Some who have been used mightily in the past are encountering a dull void as pride in their accomplishments shifted from God-praise to self-notoriety. Humility is the only effective course for an advancing procedure.
Rick Joyner pointed out years ago that “the Holy Spirit still has to find those who are ‘formless and void’ before He can move in creative ways.” For those who might not remember, “formless and void” was the setting of the stage where God began to assemble the world as we know it back in the early beginning of the book of Genesis.
While we find ourselves needing to strive forward in so much in and around us, the way forward is always successful when embedded in our wait upon God to provide the birth moment to each of our works.
It is God who creates. It is we who wait. Together–God and us–we find that our world reach to be like a dream that lives… far beyond our imaginations.. .but never… beyond His.
Humility… will always launch the church.
