HARRY LEE RANSFORD 

February 9, 1940- January 6, 2025 

Memphis, Missouri – 

Harry, 84, passed on January 6,2025, in the University of Iowa Hospital, following a short battle with thyroid cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Mary (Fischer): and infant daughter, Lisa Marie; his parents Bill and Maxine Ransford; brother, Arthur Leon; sister, Mary Francis Orton; half-sister, Viola Mae Ransford March. 

He is survived by his son, Mark, of Boca Raton ,Fl; grandson Joshua( Krystyna) of Kharkiv Ukraine; Great – granddaughter, Juliette of Jacksonville, Fl; stepson, grandson, granddaughter, Kyle (Melissa) White, Lucas and Aliyah of Festus, Mo, brother Frank Ransford, of Memphis, Mo; sister, Terri Ann (Mark) Monroe of Memphis, Mo. He will be missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, acquaintances and a most liked aunt, Martha Bradley, of Bible Grove, MO. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Scotland County Senior Nutrition Center.
