On October 2, the Scotland County Marching Tigers accomplished a sweep of awards in Class 1 at their first competition at Highland High School.
Indoor Color guard–1st place with a score of 96/100.
Indoor Drumline–2nd place
Field Show–1st place
Outstanding Field Auxiliary (Color guard)–highest score of all classes
Outstanding Field Commander Payton Miller
People’s Choice Award
Upcoming performances include the Senior Night football game at Tiger Field on October 18, Trenton Missouri Days Music Festival on October 19, and Macon Music Festival on October 26.
Scotland County R-1 welcomes our new music instructor, Mr. Joshua Ratley. Mr. Ratley went to Macon High School and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University.
In addition to Mr. Ratley, the Marching Tigers staff includes Ben Oliver, Percussion instructor, and Trinity Davis, Color guard coach.
