Copies of the Agenda, Minutes of the last Meeting, Deposits & Disbursements, Monthly Water Reports, Account Balances, and copies of cemetery layout were given to all.

Mayor Alan Garrett called the meeting to order.

A motion to approve the Agenda was made by Bill Anderson and seconded by Ray Bange and carried unanimously.

A motion to approve the Minutes of the last Meeting was made by Gene Bruner and seconded by Ray Bange and carried unanimously.

A motion to approve the Payment of Bills was made by Ray Bange and seconded bu Joy VanWye and carried unanimously.

Visitors: Jim and Judy Sharp came by to get the city’s approval to see if the different venues around town  would like to get feather signs to put up during Appreciation Days to advertize the up coming events. The Board decided this would be alright as long as they took them down afterward.

Jessica Karch came to ask the Board if she could use the City lot to set up vendors during Appreciation Days. The Board agreed this would be OK.

At 6:30pm the Board went into closed session. Jerry Anderson and Doug Norman came to discuss the cemetery. There has been some confusion as to where the boundaries are in the new section. Jerry Anderson and Kevin Martin are going to be looking into this. Went back into open session at 7:00pm.

Water/Waste Water Report: Everything is running good. We had a couple of leaks in town but they were on private property. Got the water turned off so the owners could get them fixed.

Street Maintenance: Tractor is fixed and running well. Kevin has been trying to get caught up on the mowing. Replaced a tube on 13th  Street.

Cemetery: Received $200.00 from Betty Smith and $50.00 from Keith Ketchum. This is greatly appreciated.

Positive Thoughts: Lots of sunshine and everything is going well here in Downing.

A motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 was made by Bill Anderson and seconded by Ray Bange and carried unanimously.
