Dr. Paul Yoder presented the prestigious Dr. Kay Clapp Children’s Literacy Award to 3rd Grade Teacher, Jennifer Bergeson, today at Truman State University.
Truman State established this award in 2006 to honor Dr. Clapp, a wonderful emeritus faculty member. Dr. Clapp is a powerful proponent of literacy and children’s literacy.
Mrs. Jennifer Bergeson began her teaching career at Scotland County Schools in 2004 and is a 17 year veteran as 3rd grade teacher. Mrs. Bergeson will be transitioning to the role of Elementary Counselor
