Anna Lee Ulricksen, 72, of Memphis died at her home on October 23, 2020.
She was born the daughter of Chester Roman and Evelyn Violet (White) Graham on July 11, 1948 in Memphis.
Anna married Dean A. Ulricksen on August 10, 1997. He survives.
She graduated from beauty school in Kirksville and did ladies’ hair for many years. But she also heard the call of the road and was a truck driver for over 40 years. Anna worked for Koleaseco for the last 16 years. Anna and Dean together trucked a route from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Seattle, Washington for 16 years. She loved to ride motorcycles when not trucking. Everywhere she went, she collected rocks.
She was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Wallace W. Gillespie Memorial V.F.W. Post #4958 of Memphis.
She also enjoyed her flowers and working in the yard. Anna loved to fish and guns. She won the 1998 Kenai River Salmon Derby in Alaska when she reeled in a 73 lb. salmon.
Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family. They made her the happiest.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Harry and Richard Graham; a sister, Ruth Ann Graham; and many aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her husband, Dean, of the home; sister, Mary Lea Dobson, of Lancaster; brother, Arthur Lee Roy Graham, of Moulton, IA; step sons: Byron (Sharon) Wilkes of Red Bluff, CA and Geoffrey (Heather) Easley of Bentonville, AR; an aunt, Edith Knisley of Hallsville, MO; her beloved dogs Rascal and Destiny; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held November 7, 2020 at the Masonic Lodge.
