I am sympathetic to your walk at the moment. Everywhere you turn there seems to be restrictions and limitations; severe ones. Never have we known such massive restraint like this age. Therefore, I join the many voices of hope that live in your section of the world.
Over the years, I hit upon something that plenty of others evidently knew, but I was a tad bit late. Oh sure, I was addicted and thrilled over the church concept and still believe it strongly to this day. But something was absent. I was an aggressive doer of church life; but I was not a worshiper of God.
I was devoted to “doing church right”. In addition, I even carried a smugness that I did it “righter” than most. Yet, within such a plot, I was wrong on so many fronts because I may have been church active, but my worship was basically on how others and myself were doing in our church work.
Over time, I learned from speakers and writers that the Word of God placed a large emphasis on something that I was neglecting. The transition is still in action and the difference is heart-changing.
I cheer you forward. Keep your praise to God moving forward. Think about how He is doing; not just about how you are doing or what you are going to do. Sing to Him. Talk with Him. Love Him. Admire Him. Build a relationship with Him; not just with your doctrine of church practices.
I’m still in Kindergarten…learning and learning. And…I love it and love it. Be newer today than yesterday… and, with strong enthusiasm, lift your voice in praise of and to and for God.
