Wentzville Juveniles Hurt in ATV Accident
Two Wentzville juveniles were injured in an ATV accident in Scotland County just after noon on July 14th.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the two 15-year-olds were northbound on County Road 665, three miles northeast of Downing when the 2009 Arctic Cat ATV they were driving failed to negotiate a left curve and ran off the right side of the roadway, overturning and ejecting the occupants.
The two youths sustained minor injuries and were transported by private auto to Scotland County Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Baring Man Hurt in Dump Truck Crash
A Baring man suffered minor injuries in a dump truck crash in Knox County at 11:17 a.m. on July 15th.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, J.P. Morrison, 48, was southbound on Highway 15 two miles south of Edina when the 1992 Freightliner dump truck he was driving travelled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and came to rest in the ditch.
Morrison suffered minor injuries and was transported by Knox County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the ambulance service.
