Life unfurls victories sprinkled with stinging defeats. We rightfully celebrate the former and bummerize the latter; properly so. Good for you when you get to encounter those many winning moments. And do what you can to be properly informed about the firm prospects during the losing ones.
Those last scenarios are valuable; extremely so. Don’t you get it? They are so useful that such is the very reason for the temptation to toss in the towel. Our Enemy knows precisely the target to shut us down. But we must be on alert. Don’t yield to such evil luring.
At the very moment you are about to decide to write someone off, stop. When you are near the edge of giving in, giving up, and giving out on people, think again. In each of these encounters is the invisible force of Darkness pleading for us to give in to a grave mistake. Never give up…as you very much note in the Jesus approach… that even regarding the cruelest of individuals, there is to be found a hope which looms…large.
Yes. Life is rugged. Yes. Matters are quite unfair. Definitely, others plan and plot to do you in along the way. Therefore, we must do what we can to grow in the Jesus Style. He… is the Victor who leads us to practical, everyday, victory.
Your biggest temptation will be to quit; to give up.
Don’t.
