Patricia Ann Spencer, age 81, of Newark, MO, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born May 29, 1939, in Novelty, MO, the daughter of Elmore Clinton and Alice Lodema Hudson Rhoades.
She was united in marriage to Stanley Ray Spencer on October 22, 1958, in Novelty, MO.
Surviving are her husband Stanley Ray Spencer of Newark, MO, four children, Tina Louise (Tim) Eitel of Bethel, MO, Terry Ray Spencer of LaPlata, MO, Melissa Ann Sizemore of Gorin, MO, and Jolene Renee Spencer and Brandie Ingle of Newark, MO, one brother Kevin (Karen) Rhoades of Clarence, MO, six grandchildren, Amie Sneed and Joey Jackson, Aaron Eitel and Melissa, Andrew Eitel and Eden, Tyler Spencer and Jessie Foote, Tyrell Sizemore and Crystal, and Alicia Dugger, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Gary Dean Rhoades and one niece Abigale JoAnne Rhoades.
Patricia graduated from Novelty High School. She was a housewife and homemaker. She and her husband lived most of their life in Knox County in the Novelty and Newark area.
When Patricia was younger, she spent her childhood in Wyoming and loved the mountains. She loved animals, especially horses and dogs. Patricia was very spiritual and faithful and was a member of the Novelty Christian Church. She enjoyed puzzles, flowers, gardening and was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 9, 2020, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Pastor Rick Hall officiated the services. Burial was in the Mt. Salem Cemetery north on Plevna, MO.
Casket bearers were Aaron Eitel, Andrew Eitel, Tyrell Sizemore, Tim Eitel, Joey Jackson, Ronnie Rhoades.
