Trooper Kurtis Hurley has been assigned to Zone 6, serving the citizens of Clark and Scotland counties.
Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announced the assignment of two new troopers to Troop B. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 109th Recruit Class that began training on January 6, 2020 and graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 26, 2020. The new troopers from the 109th Recruit Class will report for duty on July 13, 2020.
Trooper Kurtis A. Hurley, a native of Center, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 6, serving the citizens of Clark and Scotland counties. He graduated from Mark Twain High School in Center, Missouri, and obtained an Associate of Arts from Moberly Area Community College in Hannibal, Missouri. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, Trooper Hurley was a corrections officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Trooper Caleb L. Hirner, a native of New London, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 3, serving the citizens of Chariton and Linn counties. He graduated from Mark Twain High School in Center, Missouri, and attended Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Missouri. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, Trooper Hirner was employed at Center Locker Service, Center, Missouri.
