After several months of meeting furlough for the Scotland County Rotary Club, the club is back to meeting at Keith’s Cafe on Wednesdays at 12 noon. Recently, Tasma Troutman, RN, Scotland County Health Department, presented a program to the members of the club. She talked about the community free COVID-19 testing event at the Scotland County Fairgrounds earlier in June. She reported that 232 tests were conducted; 3 positive cases for Scotland County and 1 positive case outside of Scotland County. She reported that of the four positive cases, two presented as symptomatic. She gave pointers to the club members on masks and why and how to wear them.
