Scotland County Memorial Library in Memphis, Missouri is excited to announce a new way to access the 2020 library Summer Reading Program. The library has teamed up with Reader Zone to offer online access to the program this year. It’s free and easy to sign up for the Reader Zone App.
Reader Zone is a web-based reading program and app, created for educators, teachers, and libraries to gain the reading data they need to help readers progress and promote literacy within the community.
Children can log the books, e-books, etc they’ve read and earn fun badges along the way. The app is easily accessible for parents to keep track of their child’s progress and can also be used by the library to keep track of books read for Summer Reading.
For more information or instructions on how to sign up for Reader Zone please call the library at (660) 465-7042.
This project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.
