Pamela Gay Tripp, 60, of Memphis, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, at her residence in Memphis, Missouri.
She was born on February 26, 1960, in Edina, Missouri, the daughter of Kenneth Earl and Margie Corinne Spray Thrasher.
Pam graduated from the Scotland County High School in the Class of 1978. She continued her education at Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri and received RN degree from the Indian Hills College in Ottumwa, Iowa.
She worked at the Keokuk Area Hospital before returning to Memphis where she worked at the Scotland County Hospital, 19 years, until her health failed.
On May 22, 1993, in Kahoka, Missouri, Pam married Dana Tripp.
She lived most of her life in Memphis, Missouri and enjoyed golf, bowling, quilting, softball, and attending her nieces and nephews sporting events.
Pam is survived by her mother, Corinne “Margie” Thrasher of Memphis, Missouri; a brother, John and Amy Thrasher of Orlando, Florida; three sisters, Pattie and Roger Robinson of Memphis, Missouri, Sandy Thrasher and husband Jim Klingsmith of Gibbs, Missouri, and Melissa and Rusty Anders of Downing, Missouri; nieces and nephews; Tonya Harrison and husband Randy, Shawn Tarpein and wife Heather, Tiffany Cornelison, Jeremy Robinson, Kenny Cornelison, Chris Robinson and wife Laura, Ryan Robinson, Austin Thrasher, Alexa Thrasher, Andrew Thrasher, Michael Monroe and wife Julie, Kaylyn Anders and Hanna Anders and a special friend, Ann Gray, along with many great nieces and nephews, many cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Thrasher; two sisters, Kathie Thrasher and Brenda Thrasher; and a niece.
Funeral services were Friday, May 29, 2020, at the Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, Missouri.
Burial was in the Bible Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Bible Grove, Missouri.
Casket Bearers were Micheal Monroe, Chris Robinson, Ryan Robinson, Cameron Harrison, Conner Harrison, and Carson Harrison. Honorary Bearers were Shawn Tarpein, Tiffany Cornelison, Kenny Cornelison, Dillion Klingsmith, Emma Robinson, Chloe Robinson, Kaylyn Anders, Hanna Anders, Austin Thrasher, Alexa Thrasher, and Andrew Thrasher.
An expression of sympathy in memory of Pam Tripp may be left to the Bible Grove Christian Church Cemetery. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Memphis Funeral Home 378 S. Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555.
Memphis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
