Scotland County Memorial Library is pleased to announce that the 2020 Summer Reading Program will begin June 10th and run through July 17th.
The theme this year is “Imagine Your Story” and centers around fables, fairytales, folklore, and legends.
“While many of us may be staying close to home this summer, readers can go anywhere using their imaginations,” said Melissa Schuster, Director of the
Scotland County Memorial Library.
She indicated that modifications have been made to the program to help keep everyone safe from the virus, adding that the library staff is committed to providing a fun program for local readers.
Children can begin registering in person at the library, or online using the Reader Zone app, on June 10th.
For more information on the program, or if you have questions, please call Scotland County Library at (660) 465-7042.
“We look forward to seeing you this summer,” said Schuster.
