Weather permitting, MoDOT crews have scheduled road work which will temporarily impact traffic on various routes in Scotland County.
U.S Route 136 will be reduced to one lane from the Schuyler County line to Missouri Route 15 in Scotland County between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. May 4th – 6th for pavement repairs and patching operations.
Work will then shift to Route 15 May 6th, 7th, 11th and 12th. The road will be reduced to one lane from the Knox County line to U.S. Route 136 in Scotland County between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for pavement repairs and patching operations.
Motorists will need to use caution when traveling through work zones during these times. This work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled or delayed. Spring is here and highway work zones are beginning to pop up in Missouri.
Barrel Bob, MoDOT’s official work zone spokesbarrel, says as you approach a work zone, please don’t drive distracted. Always buckle up and put your phone down for your safety and the safety of highway workers. All work zones are online at www.modot.org, and you can receive the latest news about road work in your area by signing up for e-updates.
