Hospital Award
Amy Brown, RN, BSN, is the March Spirit of SCH Award Winner at Scotland County Hospital and Clinics this month. Amy is a native of Lawrence, KS, and has lived in Memphis since 2015 with her husband, Kevin and three children. Prior to working at Scotland County Hospital, she worked at Lawrence Memorial Hospital during nursing school and then at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO, prior to moving to Memphis. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. You will find Amy working on the Med/Surg Floor, ER, Outpatient and the Wound Clinic at SCH. Here’s what her nominator said about her, “Amy is so helpful. She’s always willing to help out. She never complains about anything and she is very calm & level-headed in stressful situations. She is super kind to all of her patients.” Amy is pictured with members of the Employee Expereince Committee at Scotland County Hospital & Clinics.
