ROAD WORK IN KNOX & LEWIS COUNTIES IN JULY 2019
Roadwork Planned for Routes in Knox and Lewis Counties |
HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing pavement patching and resurfacing work in Knox and Lewis counties. Please see the dates and locations below. Knox County Route E – July 15, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from Missouri Route 6 to Missouri Route 156 for patching operations. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Knox/Lewis County Route U – July 16-17, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from Route D in Lewis County to Route E in Knox County for patching operations. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Knox County Route T – July 18, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from Missouri Route 6 to Route E for patching operations. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Knox County Route TT – July 23-24, the road will be closed to traffic from Missouri Route 15 to Missouri Route 156 for resurfacing. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Motorists will need to use alternate routes for stated closures and may experience delays and will need to use caution when traveling through work zones during these times. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions. This work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled or delayed. When traveling through work zones this summer, traffic flow may be merged to one lane. Take turns and merge like a zipper for faster and smoother traffic flow.
