Local mixed martial arts fighter Carl Wittstock will be back in action in Minnesota later this month as the Arbela native will take the ring at Legacy Fighting Alliance 20 at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, MN.
Wittstock will do battle with Travis Perzynski of Mazeppa, MN in a lightweight division bout as part of a full ticket of fights.
“This is a wicked card,” Wittstock said of the night’s lineup of fights. “I’m so stoked! The fights will be aired live and I’m fighting a very tough opponent. I’m promising fireworks and I seriously doubt we hear from the judges.”
That has been the norm for the local fighter since he turned pro back in 2016. Off his 10 professional bouts, just one has gone the distance to be decided by the judges.
Wittstock, who holds a 9-1 record in his professional career, is coming off a victory over Milwaukee, WI fighter Jay Ellis via a first round submission at the Caged Aggression of Champions 19, held in Davenport, IA on March 25th. Just over a year ago, Wittstock defeated Ben Locken at Mystic Lake Casino at RFA 40, held July 15, 2016.
“Crazy Carl” as he is known to fans, has won eight straight decisions, following his lone loss back in June of 2014.
The bout will be nationally televised on AXSTV, which can be viewed locally on DirecTV channel 340 or Dish Network channel 167.
