The Scotland County golf team was in action April 20th at the South Shelby Invitational at Shelbina Lakeside Golf Course. The Tigers finished eighth overall.

Palmyra won the event with a team score of 346. Macon was second with a 354 with Centralia in third with a 368.

Highland finished fourth with a 374 followed by Clark County (398), Paris (439), Monroe City (445), SCR-I (447) and South Shelby (469).

Conner Harrison carded a round of 98 to lead the Tigers. Lydia Hunt and Gabe Shultz each shot rounds of 115 and Brock Aylward had a 119 to round out the team score. Lathe Bair carded a 121.

Brady Shively of Palmyra earned  the top individual honors with a  score of 81, while teammate Laithan Sublette was runner-up with an 85.
