School Board Recognition Week Observed January 21-27, 2017

During the week of January 21-27, communities across the state will honor the dedicated service of their local boards of education during School Board Recognition Week. The goal of School Board Recognition Week is to build awareness and understanding of the important function an elected board of education plays in communities and schools. All Scotland County Citizens are asked to recognize the important contributions of these men and women and focus attention on the vital role these public officials play in the education of Missouri’s children.

The Scotland County R-I School District Board of Education includes the following:  Trinity Davis-President, Christy Aylward-Vice President, Cole Tippett-Secretary, Jamie Triplett-Treasurer, Gary Miller-Member, George Koontz-Member, and Rhonda McBee-Member.  These public servants are elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their tireless efforts. On behalf of the Scotland County R-1 School District, thank you for your dedication, time, and effort.

Respectfully,

Ryan Bergeson, Superintendent

Scotland County R-1 School District
