Scotland County swept its third campus bowl double header of the season to remain unbeaten in the Lewis and Clark Conference. SCR-I traveled to Paris on March 7th and posted wins over the Coyotes and Fayette.

The Tigers had to come from behind to beat Fayette, rallying late for a 330-210 victory. SCR-I trailed 140-120 at halftime. The score was knotted at 190-190 after question 17 of the 26 question match before Scotland County closed out the contest on an impressive run. The Tigers turned things around with a four-question run, grabbing 110 of the possible  160 points to break the tie and take a commanding 300-200 lead.

Jacob Kapfer fueled the key run, getting all four of the toss-up questions. He finished with a team-high six, while Adam Slayton also answered five toss-ups in the match.

SCR-I then defeated host Paris 180-110 in a low-scoring affair. The two teams were blanked on eight of the contests first 13 questions, combining for just 110 points in the first half. SCR-I built a 80-30 lead in the process. Paris trimmed the deficit to 80-70 early in the second half. The Tigers scored a key quad sweep on question 16, as Adam Slayton won the toss-up and SCR-I answered all three bonus questions. That helped the Tigers hold on for the 180-110 win.

Slayton led the scoring with four toss up questions answered and Kapfer had two.

The SCR-I junior varsity was also in action at the meet, posting a 270-110 win over Fayette. Anna Triplett answered seven toss-ups and Zach Behrens had six in the win.
