PLACE OF MEETING: Scotland County Courthouse Commission Chambers

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.

PRESENT WERE:  Presiding Commissioner, Duane Ebeling; Eastern District Commissioner, Danette Clatt; Western District Commissioner, David Wiggins; and County Clerk, Batina Dodge.

Commissioner Wiggins moved to approve the consent agenda; seconded by Presiding Commissioner Ebeling. Motion carried 3-0.

The minutes from June 20, 2018 were presented. Commissioner Clatt moved to approve the regular session minutes; seconded by Commissioner Wiggins. Motion carried 3-0.

Presiding Commissioner Ebeling reported that he attended meetings at NEMO Regional Planning Wednesday afternoon.

Bids were received and reviewed by the Commission for connecting a generator to the courthouse – Electrical Evolution $5,018.41;         Seppelt Electric  $5,500.00

Commissioner Clatt moved to accept the bid from Electrical Evolution.  The motion was seconded by Commissioner Wiggins, and carried 3-0.

The Commission received a request for use of the courthouse lawn from Erick Byrn for Kids’ Safety Day on June 23, 2018.  The request was approved.

Sheriff Wayne Winn discussed emergency operation plans with the Commission.

Jim Kigar, Juvenile Officer, reported that the air conditioner in his office has quit. The Commission requested Kigar get prices for replacement.

Seeing no further business, Presiding Commissioner Ebeling adjourned the meeting at 12:00 p.m.

The Scotland County Commission adjourned to meet in regular session on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

PLACE OF MEETING: Scotland County Courthouse Commission Chambers

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.

PRESENT WERE:  Presiding Commissioner: Duane Ebeling; Eastern District Commissioner, Danette Clatt; Western District Commissioner, David Wiggins; and Deputy County Clerk, Nancy McClamroch.

Commissioner Wiggins moved to approve the consent agenda; seconded by Commissioner Ebeling. Motion carried 3-0.

Commissioner Clatt moved to approve the minutes from June 21, 2018. Commissioner Ebeling seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

Commissioner Clatt attended the Community Action Board Meeting on June 26, 2018.

Commissioners approved Purchase Order to Quill for Prosecuting Attorney’s office in the amount of $367.62 for toner.

S.C. Road and Bridge Supervisor Ryan Clark went over projects with the Commissioners.

An Elected Officials meeting was held to keep everyone up to date on each office.

Seeing no further business, Presiding Commissioner Ebeling adjourned the meeting at 12:00 p.m.
