PLACE OF MEETING: Scotland County Courthouse Commission Chambers

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.

PRESENT WERE:  Presiding Commissioner, Duane Ebeling; Eastern District Commissioner, Danette Clatt; Western District Commissioner, David Wiggins; and County Clerk, Batina Dodge.

Commissioner Wiggins moved to approve the consent agenda; seconded by Presiding Commissioner Ebeling. Motion carried 3-0.

The minutes from April 5, 2017 were presented. Commissioner Clatt moved to approve the regular session minutes; seconded by Commissioner Wiggins. Motion carried 3-0.

The Commission signed a Request for Release of Funds and Certification to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for CDBG project 2016-PF-16.

Kathy Kiddoo, Treasurer, presented a settlement of funds to the Commission.

Chad York inquired about the County’s rock policy.

The Commission audited and signed checks.

The Commission reviewed budget reports presented by Batina Dodge, County Clerk.

Seeing no further business, Presiding Commissioner Ebeling adjourned the meeting at 12:00 p.m.

The Scotland County Commission adjourned to meet in regular session on Wednesday, April 12, 2017.

PLACE OF MEETING: Scotland County Courthouse Commission Chambers

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.

PRESENT WERE:  Presiding Commissioner: Duane Ebeling; Eastern District Commissioner, Danette Clatt; Western District Commissioner, David Wiggins; and Deputy County Clerk, Nancy McClamroch.

Commissioner Wiggins moved to approve the consent agenda; seconded by Commissioner Ebeling. Motion carried 3-0.

Commissioner Clatt moved to approve the minutes from April 6; seconded by Commissioner Wiggins. Motion carried 3-0.

Helen Garr was in to request that there by ditching done on CR #652 before rock is hauled.

Commissioners signed a letter of agreement from MoDOT to exchange soft match credit for BRO funds with Monroe County, agreeing to send $40,000 in soft-match credit to Conroe County.

Commissioners also signed an Order of Certification of Election for proposition-renewal of Road and Bridge ½ cent sales tax. The vote was certified with 740 yes to 121 no to renew the sales tax for another four years.

Commissioner Wiggins was selected as member for Executive Board of NEMO Solid Waste Management District Council and Commissioner Ebeling as an alternate.

Scotland County Road & Bridge supervisor Ryan Clark met with the Commissioners to go over upcoming projects.

Seeing no further business, Commissioner Ebeling adjourned the meeting at 12:00 P.M.
