Wanda Peterson celebrated her birthday at Zimmerman’s Food Court.

Martin Guinn and Reva Hustead went to the REC (Rural Electric Coop) meeting.  Martin said 350 members signed up, (not counting spouses and kids).  Martin won a prize for being the oldest there (98).

Martin and Reva went to Quincy.

Charlene Montgomery and Naomi Kidd-Schwandt went to Hannibal.

Last Saturday, after Dorothy Hunolt and Alaina Voss celebrated their birthdays, they went to Steve’s Family Diner in Kahoka for a meal.  Also there were Bob Hunolt, Anna Voss, LaVern and Verna Weilbrenner, Faye Walker, Kathie McPherson, Dorothy Clark, Martin Guinn, Reva Hustead, Lonnie and Reva Triplett, and Lowell and Darlene Woods.

Attention: Ruby Red Hats of Rutledge will be going to Kelly’s in Quincy on August 14 at 11:00 a.m.  We will meet at Zimmerman’s Food Court at 9:30 a.m. for those carpooling.

Katrina and Neta went to Kirksville.

Tamara Tague is back home from taking her parents, Ed and Christine Pierce and granddaughter, Jordynne, to Tennessee.  Tamara met her daughter, Revecca, to return Jordynne and they were to return to Florida and Tamara back home to Missouri.

Dale Tague and mother, Doris Day, went to Albia, IA to help Dale’s granddaughter, Natalie, celebrate her 6th birthday.  Her parents are Jared and Rachael Tague.

Karl and Brenda DeMarce’s daughter, Renee, is home for a visit.  She is a senior in Milwaukee, MN.  Susannah is a sophomore in Watertown, WI and Cat lives in Memphis, MO.

Bob and Dorothy Hunolt’s granddaughter, Olivia Voss, celebrated her birthday at Zimmerman’s Food Court on Saturday, August 5th (her birthday was Sunday, Aug. 6th).  Others attending were her parents, Rick and Julie Voss; sisters, Alaina and Anna Voss; Noah Smith, Marjorie Peterson, Neta Phillips, Charlene Montgomery, Reva Hustead, Martin Guinn, Tim Morris, Larry Tague, Dale Tague, Buck Tague, Ronnie and Bonnie Young, Oren and Celina Erickson, Karl and Brenda DeMarce, Cat, Renee and Susannah DeMarce, and Dawn and Neal Kirkpatrick.

Continuing Olivia’s birthday, they went to supper at The Catfish Place.  Those attending were Bob and Dorothy Hunolt, Julie and Rick Voss, Alaina and Anna Voss, and Olivia’s boyfriend, Noah Smith.

Eilene and Carol spent the weekend at Jack and Cindy Guthrie’s new house in Trenton, MO celebrating James Guthrie’s 4th birthday.  Sara Gize and James celebrate together on August 8th.  Those there also were Jon, Amy, Nora, Cheryl, and Jim, Lori and John, Nick, Kelli and Reid, and Jon’s friend, Dustin, from Kansas City.

Carol also attended the Grundy County Fair Cattle Show Saturday morning.

Don Ewing’s family is planning a party for his 96th birthday.  It will be Saturday, September 16th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Community Building.
