A Memphis man sustained serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Highway 15 south of Memphis.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Travis B. Martin, 31, of Memphis, was southbound in a 2006 Mazda 3 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Martin was taken by private conveyance to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.
The crash occurred at 12:30 p.m. on February 5th seven miles south of Memphis.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Ambulance Service.
The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Lakeside Towing of Memphis.
