Nicholas J. Hays, 25, of Memphis, was taken into custody following a domestic disturbance at his residence when he allegedly choked a female victim.

Hays has been charged with the class B felony of domestic assault in the first degree. He is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on $25,000 cash only bond.
