A Memphis man was flown by helicopter from a crash scene north of Memphis on Friday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Greg Shelley, 58, was seriously injured when the 2004 Buick LeSabre he was driving went off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected before traveling off the left side of the road where it struck a fence and overturned.
Shelley was flown by Air Evac helicopter from the scene to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
The crash occurred on Highway 15, a half mile north of Memphis at 8:20 p.m. on June 30th.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office, Scotland County Fire and Rescue and the Scotland County Ambulance Service.
