The Memphis FFA Trap Team attended the first event of the season on Saturday, August 26th in Macon, Missouri.

A total of 32 FFA Trap teams came to compete in Macon with Memphis placing 5th overall. The Memphis contingent fielded four teams, and the Memphis girls team had two of the top shooters out of all the teams. Out of the 22 girl-field, Kilee Bradley-Robinson ended up shooting 1st place and Avery Shultz got 2nd. Both girls shot the same score but, Kilee ended up as the top female shooter.

The Memphis A Team this week included Jared Dunn, Kyle Childress, Brock Aylward, Harley     Saulmon, and Connor Payne.

The B Team consisted of Parker Triplett, Luke Triplett, Gabe Shultz, Jake McDaniel, and Magnum Talbert.

C Team shooters were Tanner Alexander, Branton Burrus, Kaleb Parkins, Dylan Mohr, and Jacob Kapfer.

Members of the Girls’ Team were Katelyn Talbert, Avery Shultz, Katie Campbell, Kilee Bradley-Robinson, Shelby Troutman, and Kalissa Thomas.

The Memphis FFA Team would like to invite anyone out to watch as they have their 1st home match at the Memphis Lake Shooting Range on Saturday, September 2nd.  They will also be hosting their annual fundraiser Shoot-a-thon on Sunday, September 10th at Memphis Lake Shooting.  Call Waltedda Blessing for more information or sponsor one of the FFA shooters.  Anyone is welcome to attend and shoot at the fundraiser on September 10th.
