The Memphis FFA Trap Teams competed in the Area III shoot at Bosco’s in Lancaster on Tuesday, September 23rd.  In order to advance to the District competition the team had to finish in the top 7 teams.  Mitch Kraus and Lane Mohr both shot perfect rounds of 25/25 to help the A-team advance to district competition. The A-team finished 2nd with a score of 115 out of 125 and the B-team was close behind finishing 4th with a score of 114 out of 125.  Unfortunately, only one team per school can advance so the A-team will compete this coming Saturday, October 4th at the District shoot at Katonka.  The following are scores for the Area III shoot:

A Team: Mitch Kraus 25/25, Lane Mohr 25/25, Tristen Hilpert 23/25, Keenan Bradley 22/25, Austin Howes 20/25. B Team: Kyle Clark 24/25, Dustin Humphrey 24/25, Lane Pence 23/25, Kenny Bair 22/25, Chayton Cerroni 21/25.

The teams were also in action on Saturday, September 27th competing in shoots at Paris and Columbia.  The A-Team finished in 2nd place shooting a 216/250 with Mitch Kraus placing 2nd high individual shooting one perfect round and only missing 1 shot in his other round finishing the day with a score of 49/50.  The B-team finished in 4th place with a score of 211 out of 250.
