If you ask someone on Medicare what their greatest problem or concern is, the answer is sure to be healthcare expenses and understanding their Medicare choices. Heartland RSVP’s Medicare Counseling Program helps people get the facts, so that they can make informed choices.
It’s that time of year again for all those enrolled in Medicare Part D to decide to stay with their current plan if they’re satisfied with its coverage and the changes for next year, or shop around for a plan that better fits their needs. Remember that plans change each year, so there might be a plan available for 2016 that would be more cost effective. The annual enrollment period is October 15 to December 7.
Medicare beneficiaries in need of comparing/enrolling in a Prescription Drug Plan for 2016 can attend free enrollment and education events being held in select counties in Northeast Missouri. These events are sponsored by Heartland RSVP and NEMO Area Agency on Aging, Trained counselors will be available at the sites listed below. Please call now to make an appointment.
