Two Scotland County softball players were recently honored as all-district selections following the 2018 season.

Juniors Kaitlyn McMinn and Katie Feeney earned first team all-district honors for Class 1 District 9.

McMinn earned the honors at pitcher, along with Knox County’s Katie Hamlin and Abbey Hultz of Canton.

Feeney topped the list at catcher, along with Hunter Collins of Canton and Delaney Straus of Marion County.

Also earning all district honors were outfielders Kinsley Johnson of Knox County and Emilie Riefer of Canton. All district infielders were Tadym Mason and Sidney Miller of Knox County, Laken Hugenberg, Abby Jarvis and Tegan Burbridge of Canton, and Taya Wilcox of North Shelby.
